Psychopaths do not only act on the big stage. As is currently being shown once again in global politics, one is completely at the mercy of the actions of psychopaths. For years, one convinces oneself that the behavior of the psychopath is ‘normal’ and ‘it won’t be that bad’ or ‘he will change eventually’ and ‘no one would actually do that’.
Until one is taught otherwise.
Powerless. Helpless. Desperate.
Truths are twisted, violence is legitimized, manipulations are commonplace, and there is no sense of wrongdoing. Psychopaths live in their own world.
As above, so below.
What has negatively impressed me throughout my life is the powerlessness of people to eliminate

grievances and injustice.
I received a rather non-informative response from the Office of the Federal President, pointing out that the reply letter is not intended for general publication according to the postal and telecommunications secrecy laid down in the Basic Law…
Isn’t the Federal President a public figure? Isn’t it important for all of us to know what he writes to the citizens?
When it comes to psychopaths, it’s better to remain silent. I was advised to contact the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth or the Legal Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag…
If we don’t all fight together to ensure that psychopaths can no longer do as they please, if we all always fear the consequences, fear what standing up (a brave ‘no, not with me!’) will bring, then step by step, all the psychopaths in the world will gain more and more power.
In big politics and in the microcosm of a family.
