Dear President Dr. Steinmeier,
I am writing to you in this open letter. Behind me lies a disastrous divorce. In xxx, I had to flee with my three children from xxx due to my violent German husband. Without your colleague from the Foreign Office, Mr. xxx, this would not have been possible, and I likely would not have survived.
However, even after returning to Germany, the terror continued unabated in a different way until today: My ex-husband sabotaged my circle of friends, threatened my business contacts, denigrated people in my environment with obscene letters, and publicly claimed that I have been mentally ill for years. His slander reached as far as the Bavarian Ministry of Health and the Mayor of Munich. Additionally, he inundated me with a flood of lawsuits and clever criminal complaints, forcing me into a legal odyssey from lawyer to lawyer and court to court.
He manipulated the truth so skillfully, influencing lawyers, judges, and witnesses in such a perfidious manner that I repeatedly appeared as the guilty party instead of him.
I painfully realized that injustice also prevails in German courts, especially for a woman with three children, one of whom is considered 100% severely disabled after overcoming an illness.
Part of my story revolves around signature forgery at UniCredit in Innsbruck. In preparation for our divorce, I separated my accounts from his, and there was a notarized division of assets known to the bank. A few days after our child’s cancer diagnosis and his discharge from personal bankruptcy in England, which I only learned about later, my ex-husband forged my signature, promptly reclaiming all the rights I had painstakingly revoked from him.
This led to another ongoing legal process, which has turned into a veritable judicial scandal of corruption, false statements, and serious procedural errors, persistently ignored by the Supreme Court in Vienna. My lawyer and I will sue the Austrian state.
The judiciary is completely powerless when manipulated by cunning psychopaths. Something must finally change here.

I not only witnessed a man take his own life because his psychopathic wife spread rumors for years that he was a pedophile, but also saw how a young woman warned about her psychopathic boyfriend for years, only to be repeatedly dismissed by the police until she was stabbed to death one evening outside her door in Munich.
The condition of psychopathy must become public knowledge and be noted in criminal records. This requires urgent sensitization of the police and judiciary, as well as free support services for victims at courts, police stations, and prosecutor’s offices. Trained psychiatrists and psychologists are needed to accompany court proceedings at no cost. Aside from very few exceptions, I have hardly encountered a lawyer who has ever dealt with the condition of psychopathy.
Please help me bring about these urgently needed changes.
