Because of the perfect act put on by these individuals, many victims cling to the belief that their partner loved them at the beginning of the relationship until the bitter end. These deep impressions fade very slowly through harsh experiences of reality.
Therefore, I tell you quite clearly that you were never loved by your partner. It certainly seemed real and convincing.
Psychopaths do not love!
They do not know what it means to give themselves, to surrender into the hands of another.
They plan, seduce, and control to satisfy their perverse needs. No matter how wonderful and moving the experience of the supposed happiness might have been for you, it was nothing more than a performance.
Many victims refuse to acknowledge this even in threatening life situations— even when they have already suffered one or more nervous breakdowns, experience anxiety disorders or panic attacks, and are trapped in complete isolation.
Victims of psychopaths ignore reality; they shut out the truth. But never forget: love and violence never belong together!
The initial ‘love’ of a psychopath can at any time turn into sadistic abuse.
