In dealing with other people, psychopaths are very manipulative. They know how to use their charm. They often mislead those around them, including professionals, by pretending to feel guilt or empathy. They are well aware of what reactions are considered socially appropriate. However, psychopaths have no conscience to trouble them when they act immorally. The lack of emotions gives them the advantage of being able to think through their actions very rationally. This ability allows people with psychopathy to quickly rise to high professional positions. Fear or doubt is foreign to them. They pursue their interests without regard for losses or the impact on others.
Why are there no qualified psychiatrists/psychologists to accompany a case like mine?
