Our Western Society is Still Far from Understanding What Psychopathy Truly Means

We are not talking about people who are ‘crazy,’ merely strange, or twisted. We are talking about individuals who often move extremely successfully within our society and cause incredible harm.

Ruthlessly and completely devoid of empathy, they take everything they need.

Skillfully, often with great charm and a high degree of perfection in imitating and mirroring the emotions of others, they manipulate everyone mercilessly.

Even the justice system.

Separation from a partner with a psychopathic personality disorder is always extremely problematic; it can be deadly.
The decision to finally separate usually comes after multiple humiliations, verbal abuse, and often physical injuries.
However, the decision alone is rarely sufficient. Liberation from a psychopath can be arduous. Although the psychopath often threatened separation themselves, they see the other person as their property, something they can control and possess. A psychopath cannot handle rejection; their behaviors are often linked not only to genetic brain dysfunction but also to severe childhood traumas.

Thus, the separation becomes an ego injury that the psychopath cannot tolerate.
